As spring begins, our indoor-only cats enjoy those crisp mornings and sun warming afternoons as much as we do! Fortunately, we make the perfect solution to give your indoor cats some outdoor time! COLD, RAIN, SNOW? NOT A PROBLEM FOR THIS MODEL, AND THE CATS LOVE USING THEM EVEN IN THE WINTER!!

THERE'S LOTS OF INFORMATION BELOW, but please note that each of our handcrafted patios take hours to build and prepare to ship, and our current order-to ship time is about 2 WEEKS (We're a two man shop and we can only build so many per week) BEWARE: There are knock-off's out there that claim to be cat patios, but are in fact made of cheap, non UV protected thin plastic that will crack and fall apart as they quickly weatherize and oxidize. OUR UNITS ARE MADE OF CONSTRUCTION GRADE MATERIALS, WILL NEVER ROT, AND WILL LAST THE LIFE OF YOUR CAT AND BEYOND! Don't accept knock-offs!!

So, what are these patios all about?

Our domesticated furry friends are really wild animals just below their cuddly surface. Unfortunately, it's not always safe to let our cats run around outside, where any number of things can jeopardize their well-being.

Our Kitty Peepers give customers a way to help their cats "tap into" their wild side. Cats receive lots of information about their surroundings by using their enhanced smell and sight senses, and our patios give them an opportunity to use both in a more natural environment. Our Kitty Peepers help reduce indoor kitty boredom by giving cats their own little sun porch. Kitty Peepers act as portals to the outside, allowing indoor cats to experience changes in the weather, and even anticipate seasonal changes. Give your cat the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air as much as you do!

Weather isn't a problem! Can be left in the window all year round in most areas, even in the winter BUT A SUPER NICE FEATURE IS that it literally goes into and out of the window in 10 seconds once you have it set up. PERFECT FOR LOWER LEVEL DWELLERS. Owners have lots of flexibility as to how and when they use their patios.

Ready to go right out of the box after the plexiglass front is secured to the patio! (we don't ship it attached to make sure it doesn't get scratched) Adjustable left and right side panels come with each unit.

THE SUPER GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS MODEL CAN BE USED YEAR ROUND IN VIRTUALLY ANY ENVIRONMENT so your cat can use it immediately no matter the temperature outside! Our regular models have a flap entryway that "leaks" air and if you live north of the Ohio river, the deluxe model is recommended, as cats get very attached to these, and will want to use them year-round.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

THIS 18 INCH DELUXE MODEL HAS A PLEXIGLASS FRONT WITH A CAT DOOR. You asked for it, and we made it! Many folks wanted a smaller version of our deluxe 24 inch model, and we're delivering!
(Cat door is 6.5 inches wide) Plenty big for most cats, even chunky ones! The model featured is 18" wide, 12 inches deep, and 12 inches high. Weight is 15 pounds. YOU NEED AN OPEN WINDOW WIDTH OF AT LEAST 19 INCHES FOR THIS MODEL TO FIT. Side panel pieces will cover an open window width of up to 30 inches. (If your window opening is wider than 25 inches, you'll want the large deluxe model) BE SURE TO ACCOUNT FOR SMALLER PORTIONS OF THE WINDOW FRAME WHEN MEASURING THE OPENING, LIKE THE SCREEN FRAME FOR EXAMPLE which can often be narrower than the main portion of the window frame opening.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAT DOOR MAY BE EITHER WHITE OR BROWN (depending on what are supplier is able to get for us--the doors are exactly the same, just different colors).

Our patios don't require any attachments to the window frame.
Our patios are made of PVC components that will NEVER rot.
Our patios are light-weight, and go in and out of the window in seconds. (others are MUCH heavier)
Out patio has a reflective roof, to protect cats from long-term sun exposure. (others do not)
Our patios are made to be inconspicuous in windows for apartments and for people that live in Home Association areas.

THERE ARE A LOT OF KNOCK-OFF'S OUT THERE ONLINE AND ON ETSY MADE OF WOOD, METAL AND ACRYLIC PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT THE QUALITY OF OURS. We've set the standard for over a decade. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING US!

A NOTE ABOUT THE COST: We realize these are expensive, but they are made to last and last. A lot of materials and hours of craftsmanship go into each one, and our patios will never need replacing after five years because something rotted. Our patios are lovingly double-boxed in a big outer box, and transported via UPS, which means they aren't cheap to ship. While we've done our level best to make sure we keep our costs as low as possible, we've been absolutely slammed with increasing materials costs that are beginning to increase again, and shipping has doubled in just one year's time.

Due to Trump’s tariffs, our material and shipping costs are beginning to rise even further, forcing us to adjust our prices. As a small business, we operate on razor-thin margins to begin with, and these policies leave us with two choices: raise prices or go out of business. It's just basic math. If my costs go up I have to pass those costs on to my customers in order to stay afloat, and if my customers can't afford my product, we're not going to be able to weather this economic crisis. Virtually everything we use in making these are going to be subjected to tariffs--especially the aluminum and stainless steel. We’re doing everything we can to stay ahead of these rising costs while keeping our products affordable, but we can’t absorb these increases alone. It's not lost on us that many of our customers are facing equally or worse pressures right now.

My promise to my customers as the weeks and months unfold and we learn more about how this will settle out, is that I will only raise my prices equal to the cost increase I'm incurring, and not a penny more. We hope that customers understand or at least have a sense of what is going on and what shops like ours are facing, and even if you don't spend any money in my shop this spring, please consider supporting another small shop, especially any small shops you've supported before and value. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better for small businesses.
